Collie Christmas Pageant and Night Markets @ Collie Central Business District

Come along and celebrate a traditional Christmas at the annual Lions Club of Collie’s annual Christmas Pageant.

The Pageant is a major event on Collie’s calendar, with a variety of markets and street entertainment and a community concert.

The iconic Street Parade between 6pm and 7pm is always a highlight.

Santa is very much a part of the evening, participating in the Parade in his sleigh, and posing for photographs with children.

Browse the markets all through the beautiful Central Park between 2pm and 8.30pm, while the kids are kept amused by a huge variety of free entertainment on offer.

The Collie Christmas Pageant is an alcohol-free event.

Collie is set to be the venue of the 2020 Tom Quilty Gold Cup, Australia’s prestigious National 160km event. The Collie tracks provide a beautiful ride along sandy and gravel tracks, over a mix of flat and undulating ground through farmland and forest. It is set to be run from our very own Collie Race Track over the Friday and Saturday.

The Tom Quilty Gold Cup Endurance Ride National Championship is the premier ride on the endurance calendar in Australia.  The prestige associated with winning this event, as well as competing, is immense. Making it the goal of all Australian endurance riders to attempt and be successful in this ride.  The original Tom Quilty gold cup is held in the ‘Stockman’s Hall of Fame’ in Longreach QLD as the inception of the Quilty Cup ride was nurtured by Queenslanders Erica and RM Williams who loved their distance riding. The Quilty was named after RM’s old mate Tom Quilty of Spring Vale Station in the Kimberley Ranges of WA, who on request donated the valuable gold cup.
