‘Kiosk at the Dam’ to re-open at Easter

It’s great news that the Wellington Dam Café is set to re-open for Easter under new management and a new name “Kiosk at the Dam”. New managers Diane and Stephen have many new and wonderful ideas for the kiosk as well as the near-by Honeymoon Pool and Potter’s Gorge.

They have given the café a lovely new paint job and plan to serve breakfasts, morning and afternoon teas and lunches. The menu is yet to be set but we are sure it will be delicious.

Maybe you like the idea of camping in the picturesque Wellington National Park but don’t fancy forking over the money for all the gear? Maybe you just want an over night stay and can’t be bothered setting up just for the one night. Go Glamping!

Amongst Diane and Stephen’s great ideas is Glamping! Which is very fancy camping – they set everything up for you at Honeymoon Pool or Potters Gorge and you just arrive – how good is that!

They also plan to hire mountain bikes which will be very popular as there are some great trails in the Wellington National Park.

There are other ideas still in the planning stages or being finalised but we can promise they will be great!
