Skaters and live bands raise money for youth education

Head to the Collie Skate Park this weekend for an action-packed Skateistan event, raising money for an international not-for-profit organisation that aims to bring vulnerable youth to education through skateboarding.

The action starts at 4pm with a Skate Clinic at the Skate Park on Lefroy Street, with mentors from Perth and the South West showing off their tricks and tips. Bring your own safety gear and skates to join in the fun.

Over 18s can head over to the Victoria Hotel on Throssell Street to check out four live bands from 8pm. The line-up includes Rapscallion, Witchcliff, 34A9er and Naked Wizard, with a $5 door fee.
