Free music festival this Friday night

The serene new Collie Central Park is set to get loud next week with Music in the Park – the new Collie Youth Advisory Committee’s first-ever gig being held to celebrate National Youth Week.

The youth wellbeing festival combines interactive art, music, mental health and straight-up good vibes.

Head on down to the Bendigo Bank Music Shell Friday, 7 April, from 4.30-6.30pm.

Perth DJ Liam Gallagher DJ is performing on the stage, and if you’re game enough, you can perform a song or play music. Youth artist Angie Hiscock will be providing advice and assistance, and youths can paint a NYW tote bag with their own design.

There will also be a stall on mental health, table tennis and other games, a photo booth and a pledge wall.

The event is supported by the Department of Local Government and Communities as well as the Shire of Collie.
