If you’re looking for something to do with Dad this weekend, why not head out to the Collie Motorplex for two days of hooning fun.
Antilag is at the Motorplex on Saturday for a casual, fun track day designed for beginners through to those with more experience. The day consists of fast laps around the track, mixed up with some roll-on drag racing and burnouts.
If you’d like to get involved, you’ll need your vehicle to pass scrutineering as well as a current and valid drivers licence, a fire extinguisher, approved helmet, long-sleeved pants and top and enclosed shoes. The Antilag days are always popular, and often sell out, so pre-pay now to avoid disappointment.
8am scrutineering and registration for drivers, with action on the track from 8.45am until 4.30pm. Spectators are free.
On Sunday, the Collie Motorsports Group is holding the annual Fathers’ Day Burnouts, with a prize pool of $7500.
Gates open at 7am for competitors, and 10am for the general public.
Entry for spectators is $25 for adults, kids 14-17 years $10 or $40 for families. Canteen and bar facilities available.
