A group of Collie volunteer firefighters from Fire and Rescue Service and Bushfire Brigades have been deployed to help fight fires in Queensland.
They are part of a 21-firefighter deployment sent from the South West and the second deployment from Western Australia so far.
They are working as part of a national effort to bring more than 100 fires in Queensland under control.
The Collie Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service expressed appreciation to the employers who gave their employees paid time off to undertake this important service.
