Collie Adventure Race is back and more exciting than ever

The Collie Adventure Race is back on for 2016 and is shaping up to be more exciting than ever.

The multi-discipline event on Saturday, 8 October 2016, starts and finishes at the picturesque Minninup Pool on the Collie River on the edge of the Collie township.

The event includes 10km canoe, 22km mountain bike, 1km swim, 28km road bike and 10km run legs with a break for lunch, and can be completed as a team or by individuals (iron men and women).

This year’s event includes two laps of a shortened run leg and multiple laps of a revised mountain bike leg that brings competitors back past the start and finish to bring spectators and supports closer to the event and provide a refreshing change for past competitors.

The Collie Adventure Race is a terrific training opportunity for the Blackwood Marathon, Busselton Ironman, Augusta Adventure Race and Albany Adventurethon.
