Social Cycling @ Crank'n Cycles

Whether you are experienced, semi-experienced or beginner there’s a variety of rides, with both road and mountain bike cyclists catered for. Join the groups departing from Crank’n Cycles store on Steere Street.

Road bikes leave at 7.00am for a 30km road ride on Saturday mornings.

GROUP MTB RIDE leaves at 3pm (suitable for “semi-experienced” beginners to fitter riders) Saturday afternoon and 6pm Wednesday evening.

Bikes must be in good working order and have a head lamp/light and riders must wear helmets.

Crank’n Cycles hire bikes if you would like to join one of the groups but don’t have a bike as yet. Contact the store directly for availability and prices.

An exciting new exhibition Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank will be on display at the Collie Art Gallery from the 26th May to the 9th of July.

Collie will be the first WA venue to display this travelling exhibition with it going to Kalgoorlie and Wanneroo after it’s time at Collie.

It is the ‘Anne Frank House’ hope that the travelling display will encourage schools of the regions to develop educational programs and products around the exhibition with the aim of raising young people’s awareness of the dangers of anti-Semitism, racism and discrimination and the importance of freedom, equal rights and democracy.

The Agricultural Markets have many stalls displaying such goods as fresh produce, homewares, books, CD’s, DVD’s, toys, jewellery, accessories, baked goods and much more.

The kitchen is open with sausage sizzle, tea, coffee and cool drinks all available to purchase.

Proceeds from the markets assist the Collie Agricultural Society.
