Along the Collie River, on Lennard Drive within the Wellington National Park you’ll find a good variety of swimming holes, along with rapids for the more adventurous.
Glen Mervyn Dam
A popular spot for water skiing and camping, the Glen Mervyn dam is also a great place to cool off in the hot weather. Located about 16km south of Collie on the Collie Preston Road (Mumballup Road).
One of Collie’s most popular natural swimming areas is Minninup Pool, only 3km from the town centre off the Mungalup Road .
Stockton Lake - 6kms east of Collie on the Collie-Darkan Road. This is also a popular bush camping spot.
The Collie Mine Worker's Memorial local town Swimming Pool was built in November 1964. It has recently under gone a transformation with the re-tiling of the outdoor pool which is one of the few 50m outdoor pools in the south west and adding of a new kiddie section. The pool has excellent facilities and is heated; open from October to April. Open Monday to Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 12noon - 7pm
